The ecologyst eCommerce Sales Manager is responsible for all areas of our online store and digital marketing. Your role is to maximize traffic and sales conversion on our website. You manage digital advertising, SEO, email newsletters, and online merchandising. You work with the marketing, product, and executive teams in order to create and maintain a world-class online experience for our community. You ensure the user experience of the eCommerce store is top-notch, at all times. 

Responsibilities:

  • Website UX Design / Merchandising: You will be responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with website designers to develop and alter the website as needed. You will be responsible for the frequent merchandising of product and product pages. 
  • Email Marketing & Paid Digital Advertisements: You are responsible for the schedule, creation, and delivery of all our email newsletters. You will create and manage all online digital advertisements.
  • Research and Development: You will keep abreast of new developments in the eCommerce-marketing world. You will also research the company’s core demographic and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted digital advertisements.

  • Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimization,  A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis and reporting tools

Preferred skills:

Bookkeeper / Executive Assistant

Job Description:

The ecologyst Bookkeeper/ Executive Assistant is responsible for creating financial transactions and generating reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting software from source documents such as invoices to customers, receipts, and supplier invoices. The bookkeeper reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy. The Bookkeeper is responsible for facilitating payroll for the company. This role will also include managing investor relations, administering various office duties, and assisting the executive team as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; allocating; posting transactions; ensure legal requirement compliance.
  • Balance accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage
  • Complete tax forms
  • Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary
  • Create and issue invoices to customers
  • Collect sales taxes from customers and remit them to the government
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
