Canada Returns / Exchanges 

Return shipping is FREE for orders within Canada.

We want you to love your gear. Size wasn’t quite right? Let’s get you set up with the right size. Style didn’t suit you? Let's get you into something you love. If you really aren't loving it we can offer a store credit or full refund. We are sure we can help you find something you love.

We offer free exchanges and returns on apparel and accessories. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unwashed, unused and in the same condition that you received it. Original tags must be attached. We can offer an exchange, store credit or full refund to the original payment method.

To initiate a return or exchange head to our Online Returns Portal, you'll need your order number. Returns must be initiated within 14 days upon order delivery. Your return package must be dropped off at your nearest post office within 7 days of receiving your return label.

In-store purchases using a debit card cannot be returned for a refund unless the card is present in store. In-store debit refunds done online will only be eligible to receive store credit.

Non-returnable items include; Second Life, intimates, masks, gift cards, apothecary, stickers and surfboards.

Last Chance items are returnable for store credit, no refunds or exchanges.

USA Returns / Exchanges

To be eligible for a return your items must be unwashed, unused and in the same condition that you received it. Original tags must be attached. We can offer an exchange, store credit or full refund to the original payment method.

Return postage costs are the customers responsibility. When shipping items for a return, indicate on the customs label that it is a “Returning Canadian Good” to avoid paying duties. If this is not indicated returning goods may face additional charges or be rejected.

Non-returnable items include; Second Life, intimates, masks, gift cards, apothecary, stickers and surfboards.

Last Chance items are returnable for store credit, no refunds or exchanges.

Holiday Returns / Exchanges

Orders placed on or after October 24th, 2022 are eligible for exchange or refund if the order number and original form of payment is present at the time of return.

Orders placed on or after October 24th, 2022 are eligible for exchange or store credit if you have the order number but do not have the original form of payment.

This policy is valid till January 7th, 2023.

Repairs for Life 

We create purposeful goods that are made to last. And we mean really last. But occasionally things happen - hems come undone, buttons come loose, things need fixing... And that is okay. We've got you covered if construction repairs are needed.

We choose repairing before replacing. When a good needs repairing, we are committed to taking the route of the smallest footprint. Generally, this means that we will repair a good before replacing. Want to know more: Repairs for Life

Repairs for Life applies to our apparel goods that break down through standard wear.

This guarantee applies to goods purchased in-store or online after Jan 1, 2015 with a verifiable record of purchase or attached ecologyst sewn tags. 

We do not offer free shipping for repairs outside of Canada and the Continental US. Please contact us at info@ecologyst.com for more information.

Item Exclusions: Camp & Cabin hard goods, surfboards, belts and next-to-skin garments such as socks, masks, and long johns.

Damage Exclusions: Moth damage, stains, extreme use, misuse cases and incorrect care/washing are excluded from our Repairs for Life program. Please read the care labels for directions on how to effectively look after your gear, and get in touch if you have any questions.

Pre-Ordering Process

Items flagged with a “Pre-Order” icon are items that are currently unavailable in our online and physical shops, but that are expected to arrive within a certain amount of time. To pre-order an item is to purchase it before it is available with the understanding that it will ship at a later date. 

The estimated shipping date is stated on the product page during the allotted pre-order duration. This is an estimated date of which the order will be packaged and shipped, and is subject to change due to manufacturing and/or delivery delays at any time. We cannot guarantee the item will be shipped by the original date stated on the product display page. 

The standard 3 to 7 business day wait from the estimated shipment date to arrival of the package still applies to pre-orders. Shipments will be made Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Kindly manage your expectations as pre-order estimated shipping dates are often 2 to 4 weeks out from the day you place your order. 

All pre-orders made are considered as sold on the day of payment. If you need to return or exchange an item that has been pre-ordered, please email info@ecologyst.com for assistance. Our Online Returns Portal doesn’t accept returns past 21 days which could affect initiating an exchange of your pre-order.

Mobile Message Service Terms & Conditions

The ecologyst mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by ecologyst (“ecologyst ”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to ecologyst’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of ecologyst through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any provincial, state, or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialling system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
