The Heavy Wool Overcoat
The Heavy Wool Overcoat is crafted from heavyweight 750gsm wool—one of our most structured fabrics in our collection accompanied by a beautiful charcoal grey finish. A functional and minimalist coat, this design features a soft shoulder, clean finished sleeves you can roll up, and a notched collar that folds closed when the wind blows. An inner chest pocket allows for extra storage alongside the two front welt pockets. We chose corozo buttons made from the seeds of the Tagua palm tree because they are natural, durable, and scratch-resistant alternatives to plastic.
New to our line up of materials, we are testing a Japanese deadstock fabric—biodegradable nylon mini-ripstop in 85gsm for the inner lining to easily slide garments through the sleeves.
Made in Vancouver.

As it decomposes, wool enriches soil with sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

Wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet, making it naturally breathable and moisture-wicking.

A single sheep produces 4.5 kg of wool per year, enough for 10+ meters of fabric, 6 sweaters, or 1 large sofa.
