Style meets functionality in this traditionally inspired cowl Merino wool fisherman sweater. Spun to be naturally speckled, the yarn is woven into a thick ribbed knit. The slightly cropped and boxy fit gives this timeless garment a modern twist.

Durability meets superior softness to keep you cozy in wet or cold weather, with this thick knit sustainably made from Donegal YarnsWith a lighter feel and softer texture, Merino wool is grown by Merino sheep - making it a natural, renewable fiber. It’s thinner than regular wool, making it easy to wear next to the skin.

versatile

I was hesitant to buy this sweater because of the cost, but it is the best sweater ever! It is super warm. It is great for around town, but also for skiing, camping, etc. It is my go to sweater, and I can't imagine not having it.

Cozy!

I'm very pleased with how warm this sweater is - it's difficult to find a nice thick 100% wool sweater these days. It's not as soft as my other Ecologist sweater, so I was worried it would be itchy, but even the neck is comfortable. (I'm sensitive to fabric textures and find even some merino intolerable). It's also the prefect cut to be flattering but comfortable. The sleeves are on the long side - something to be aware of if you have shorter arms - but since I'm tall I'm happy about that. The only negative thing about this sweater is that the elbows have bagged out after wearing for only a day. Please never stop making clothes in 100% natural fibres!

Makes me happy

This sweater it is versatile, highly functional, feels and looks great. I wore it underneath the anorak in the pouring rain and those two combined do the job, perfect exchange and balance between the body and the elements.
