This book end is not sold in pairs, but sold individually. Use a single book end to prop up your favorite titles up against a wall, or get 2 to create a stand alone selection of books in the middle of your desk or shelf. The brass will patina as it ages, exposing its true beauty over time.

Hand-made by the master craftspeople behind Nousaku Works. The historical city of Takaoka has a 400-year history of metal casting. Utilizing casting techniques handed down from generation to generation, Nousaku was established in 1916 primarily as a producer of Buddhist altar equipment, tea utensils, and flower vases. In recent years, the company has turned its focus to tableware, interior goods, and lighting fixtures, breaking the mold of a traditional industry by making products to complement modern lifestyles.
