WHAT GARMENT ARE YOU FIELD TESTING?
The Athletic Tee.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE GARMENT?
The softest material! I love that the bottom of the shirt is rounded. Really good colour. I love the little brand patches, very original and SOFT. I haven't wanted to rip the neck tag off, as I don't even notice it!

DESCRIBE A TIME WHEN YOU WORE THIS GARMENT OUTSIDE.
HOW DID IT PERFORM?
It is super, super comfortable and I hardly am aware of it being on my body as I am with certain garments. I am very body sensitive and I hardly find myself readjusting it or feeling constricted by it.

HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT MAKE YOU FEEL?
It makes me feel good! I almost went with a larger size which I would normally do to get that comfort of feeling "covered up." This shirt is more fitted, and dare I say near perfectly fitted for my body, which is something that literally never happens when it comes to clothing for me. It has become an everyday shirt if I can get away with it.

HOW OFTEN HAVE YOU WORN IT?
Nearly every day.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE FABRIC?
Super soft! And has maintained being so even with washing it often, as many of my hobbies (woodworking and general muddiness) require a good cleaning, regularly.

DID YOU FOLLOW THE WASHING/DRYING INSTRUCTIONS WHEN CLEANING THE GARMENT? IF NOT, HOW DID YOU CLEAN IT?
At first, I wasn't putting it through the drier but every now and again it gets mixed in accidentally. Sometimes it feels like it is a little tauter after coming out but loosens up shortly after wear.

DID THE GARMENT CHANGE AFTER USE?
The biggest change is the bottom rounded seam almost always folds itself up, which I'm sure could be fixed with a little iron but I have yet to give that a go. There is very, very slight pillage, but hardly noticeable.

DID THE GARMENT MEET YOUR NEEDS?
YES. Love it.

HOW WOULD YOU IMPROVE THIS PRODUCT?
No thoughts on improvement, I think you pretty well hit the nail on the head with this one.

TELL US A STORY ABOUT YOU IN THIS GARMENT.
I'll be blunt here, I don't wear bras and I do have a bit of a chest. The only shirts I have ever felt comfortable going nips free under a shirt are usually heavily patterned or much thicker. Due to the shirts colour and material weight, it's almost like some sort of armour. It's very easy to feel free in this garment. Coming from an individual that does not identify with being either male or female, it means a lot to find clothing that helps you feel at home in your body. Thanks for this one!

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR WEEKEND?
I like to get outside as much as possible, whether that be sitting on the front porch soaking up the sunshine and then heading to work for the night, or getting out to the mountains for some adventure and photo taking. Depending on projects I have on the go I might take time to work on them. Always filling my free time with passion!

WHAT'S ONE WAY THAT YOU LEAVE THINGS BETTER?
I have been very lucky to have solid mentors in the past few years in the importance of waste reduction. Whether reusing, recycling and most importantly reducing, I am always looking for ways to improve upon this and share my knowledge on the topic with others. I have been trying my best to eliminate plastic from my life and am hoping to get a bicycle very soon so I can start biking to work!

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL US?
In the world of fast fashion and waste galore, I truly appreciate what you all are doing. Sometimes the actions we take to make things better may seem small, but they are definitely big in the ripple effect of change. I know I will wear this shirt until it's holy and stained, and I will love it with every step of the way. It's so important to act with meaning, and I stand by you with the value of leaving things better in mind. In a small-big way, this shirt and experience to test it out have left me better, and left me continuing to look for new ways to help this planet of ours in any way I can. Hopefully one day we will all leave it better than when we first started walking its ground. Here's to Earthly love!
