The Mens Quilted Wool Vest
The Ecologyst upgrade of the classic quilted vest, with all-natural and sustainably sourced textiles that are warm, water repellent, and wind-resistant. We’ve sourced wool insulation, organic cotton poplin lining, and light but durable responsibly sourced wool outer — replacing traditionally used nylons and poly/plastic insulations. All four layers are then combined at a heritage quilting mill in Manitoba, using a vertical wave stitch that decreases offcuts and fabric waste.
Snap closure allows more freedom of movement, with a curved back hem to ensure that whether walking or biking you’re protected from the elements. The lines on this design are clean and minimal with a curved collarless neckline and low profile welt pockets.

As it decomposes, wool enriches soil with sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

Wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet, making it naturally breathable and moisture-wicking.

A single sheep produces 4.5 kg of wool per year, enough for 10+ meters of fabric, 6 sweaters, or 1 large sofa.
