100% North American grown and sewn classic fit tee, screen printed to order featuring a drawing and declaration created by the Ecologyst founder’s son, Hiro.
The design originated from a workshop hosted by MOTH (More-Than-Human Life), where participants explored the idea of creating a declaration of rights for more-than-human life after studying the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Hiro’s contribution to this declaration was: “Everybody has the responsibility for the Earth.
We turned that declaration and his drawing into a garment. Responsibility for the Earth belongs to everyone — including how we produce clothing. The clothing industry produces 100 billion of garments annually. 30% of which is never sold or worn.
For this project, we’re taking a different approach by producing only the exact quantity ordered. As a result of our made to order approach, the estimated ship date is 9/1.
