WHAT GARMENT ARE YOU FIELD TESTING?
The 210 Merino Henley.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE GARMENT?
Very good quality product - loved the details on stitchings
DESCRIBE A TIME WHEN YOU WORE THIS GARMENT OUTSIDE.
HOW DID IT PERFORM?
Considering how thin and light the Merino Henley was, it still kept me pretty warm. It also absorbed quite the amount of sweat, too.
HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT MAKE YOU FEEL?
I am a big fan of simple design with a minimalistic brand logo. The Merino Henley was a perfect fit for me. It was very easy to pair up with any of the pants that I had.
HOW OFTEN HAVE YOU WORN IT?
Every 3-4 days.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE FABRIC?
When I first wore the Merino Henley, I found it little rough on the skin. The Merino had some friction against my skin.
DID YOU FOLLOW THE WASHING/DRYING INSTRUCTIONS WHEN CLEANING THE GARMENT? IF NOT, HOW DID YOU CLEAN IT?
I didn't follow the instructions entirely. As usual, the only instructions I actually followed were to gently wash with biodegradable detergent. I probably washed it twice, but it still came out looking brand new. I will make sure to follow the instructions from now on.
DID THE GARMENT CHANGE AFTER USE?
Nope. It still looked very good.
DID THE GARMENT MEET YOUR NEEDS?
I wore this to fine dining, coffee shops, hiking and just everywhere I usually hang out. It suited my lifestyle very well. I think the Henley looks good with jeans, sweat pants or cotton pants.
HOW WOULD YOU IMPROVE THIS PRODUCT?
I am not sure if there is any way to add a little bit of more support around the neck. It became a little loose compared to when I first got it.
TELL US A STORY ABOUT YOU IN THIS GARMENT.
Every time I wear my Merino Henley and go hiking to the wilderness, I feel less guilty to our trees and the planet. It makes me appreciate our environment more, rather than taking it for granted.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR WEEKEND?
I usually go hiking or offroading with my dog. I try to spend my weekends with him but sometimes I end up at coffee shop writing emails, editing photos or studying.
WHAT'S ONE WAY THAT YOU LEAVE THINGS BETTER?
I changed my detergents to biodegradable detergent and try to use less plastic bags and replace them with paper bags. Recycling is one of the things I am very strict with, too.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL US?
Thanks for creating such a good movement of eco-friendly clothing. I have learned so much from ecologyst, like what materials to look for when I am buying new clothes.
