Made in Canada, this 100% essential oil soy and coconut wax candle is a celebration of the west coast way of life. A small-batch collaboration with The Salt Spring Island Candle Co and ecologyst, originally conceived as an homage to the West Coast lifestyle of the Sitka Surfboard Company.

An iconic scent for a magical place, and a perfect ode to the Gulf Islands of the Pacific Northwest, the nostalgic, woodsy aroma of our flagship candle delivers authentic Canadian forest aroma.

Proudly made with Sitka Spruce that is sustainably hand-harvested and steam-distilled by Great Bear Rainforest® Essential Oils, a 100% Indigenous Owned company, handmade by the Indigenous Nations of the Great Bear Rainforest.

Your candle will have the longest life if let melt burn to the edges for the first burn and keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch.

A very unique and memorable scent

My wife and I love how the Sitka candle smells, we’ve been fans of unique candle scents for some time now and this one certainly stands out. It seems as if it’s captured what it’s like to be in the heart of the forest, which on the Island is a special place indeed! We’ll be travelling there a lot over the years for sure, this wonderful candle will serve as a reminder in the meantime.
