This family-run company collects Balsam fir and Cedar tips from local farmers, woodsmen, and tree farms and continues to use an environmentally friendly process to make their incense and scented items. Paine's has been making incense in Auburn, Maine since 1931. Try it with the Paine's Log Cabin - light a stick of incense, put it inside the miniature house, and smoke will rise from the chimney.

Although the balsam incense was a bit disappointing after the incredible cedar one, that's my personal preference. Your customer service, on the other hand, is exceptional. Sarah was friendly and helpful, and made my shopping experience a pleasure. I've been in customer service for years, and I recognize the real thing. This is the second time I've shopped at your store: , and this time only bought 1 small item. Nevertheless, I was treated the same as if I'd made a substantial purchase.. A walk into the forest
I absolutely love this incense! I feel when I’m not in beautiful BC and I use this incense it takes me right back to the smell of the forest and all the great memories I have made exploring those forest!
