We sourced the softest New Zealand ZQ certified wool, that was then milled in Italy to produce this buttery-soft light-weight merino. Our shirts use Corozo buttons, made from the seeds of the tagua palm tree - chosen because they are natural, durable, and scratch-resistant alternatives to plastic.
Best of all, this warm merino wool is both machine and hand washable - we recommend a cold wash on a delicate setting, and then hang to air dry. As with all-natural fibers, machine wash and dry will wear the fibers more quickly and is less energy efficient.

As with their wool shirt, the fit is perfect. Neither baggy nor slim, it strikes what is to my mind the perfect balance. The light brown is beautiful, with a small hint of grey it has a classic color that matches with black and navy. The fabric is so smooth and soft, with a hint of a sheen that lets it work as formal or casual. Finally, it offers the one ultimate upgrade on other Ecologyst clothing: cold machine washable (hang to dry!).
